Health
Health Services: Newcastle School District has a part-time credentialed school nurse to provide health-related services to Newcastle Elementary School students. These services include vision, hearing, specialized assessments, development of emergency health plans, referrals to health care providers, staff training, family life education, and consultation.

Additional Kindergarten Health Requirements:
  • An oral assessment by a qualified dental provider
  • A  Health Assessment for School Entry ( CHDP) physical
